Glen Helen Fixed Tent Camp

Powered Camp Sites

Group accommodation in the fixed tent camp

There are large grass areas suitable for tents or swags, most are supplies with fire pits and plenty of parking space nearby.

While camping with us enjoy hot showers, use of free BBQ, gas cooker and fridge freezer. Swim in the swimming pool or the natural waterhole of the Glen Helen Gorge, relax in the homestead at the bar or take a night off from cooking and enjoy dinner in the Namatjira Gallery Restaurant. End the night with free live entertainment from talented Australian musicians.

Guests wishing to have campfires should supply their own firewood as collection is not permitted within the Glen Helen property or the West MacDonnell National Park.

As Glen Helen Homestead Lodge is a licensed venue BYO alcohol is not permitted in the campground. There is a large selection of reasonably priced beer, wine and spirits available at the bar for your convenience.

Well behaved pets are welcome in the campground but guests are reminded of the restrictions for domestic animals in the surrounding national park area.

Camping is available year round and reservations are recommended between April and October.

School and coach groups are welcome, please enquire for rates and facilities.
